I will use a combination of print and online advertising, social media, and open houses if so desired. You never know who may have a friend or family member looking for a house just like yours. A comprehensive write up, copious photographs, and 3D Virtual Tours if so desired will be included.   2. Think like a buyer.
  3. Be willing to take feedback from both your agent and others who view your home.
  4. Stay on top of home maintenance!  Establish a routine for mowing the yard, weeding the beds, cleaning indoors, and changing light bulbs if necessary.
  5. Avoid clutter.  Try to find a place for everything and keep everything in its place.
  6. Be flexible with showing times and other things that may pop up.
  7. Interview a few realtors, and hire one that you like and trust.
  8. Think about packing early, pack boxes of items you won’t need and put them in storage.
  9. Be honest and forthcoming with your agent and any potential buyers.
  10. Complete any unfinished projects around the house.
